notes: So, such_heights has been trying to persuade me for aaaaages to make a Doctor Who vid by myself. But for some reason - because the show is so beautiful, because it gives me so many Feelings and Thoughts and I love it too much and there's so many wonderful vids already out there - I was too scared and sceptical. But then, one day weeks and weeks ago, I got this song in my head and it wouldn't leave. It was so *obviously* Rory's voice, that I couldn't believe that somebody more talented than me hadn't already made it. But nobody had. So I did.

This is a vid about Rory and Amy. The Boy Who Waited and The Girl Who Waited. It's a vid about how they are both truly unique and wonderful and brilliant and badass. It's about how they wait for each other, and how they fight for each other, and how they care for each other, in every possible reality. It's about how Amy drags Rory out into Time and Space, and he doesn't mind if she doesn't mind. It's about how they can be epic universe-saving warriors and ridiculous flaily dorkfaces and a regular domestic couple, and none of that is contradictory. And she doesn't mind if he doesn't mind. It's about how they help each other to shine even more brightly than they could do alone. It's about how they catch each other when they fall.

UNH SO GOOD!!!

First off, it works beautifully emotionally and narratively, that is just awesome, but then the motion you had across cuts was just AWESOME, this was REALLY REALLY GOOD. Like one of those vids that makes me go "damn it, I need to learn to be awesome like that!"

Aww I LOVE all the connecting motion in this! Especially the beginning, the letter connecting to the TARDIS around 1:40 and the section of weird weapons; stunning!

That is so lovely! The movement and cuts just make it flow so well, and this song is one that I personally thought always worked well for Rory and Amy.

Eeeeee! This is so full of fun and love for Rory, Amy, and their beautiful relationship. I'm not a vidder so I can't talk technically well, but it seemed really skillfully made with the cuts and the pacing and such.

eeeeeee thank you Chaila! :-D I was really pleased with those bits too. Now I know how to actually *make* vids, I'm working on making them better....mostly this involves watching awesome vids by you and Becca and Amy and other people and thinking "I wish I could do that!"

Also, the Ponds' choice of weaponry is the actual best. That was so much fun to make.

OMG I love them so much. This is fabulous!!! What a glorious lovesong for our glorious Ponds.

So many beautiful editing choices here. I love the moment where Amy tosses the TARDIS-blue invitation and it becomes the TARDIS whirling through space. And the way the action scenes dance. And the adorable domesticity -- toothbrush, bowl of muffin batter -- and, oh, I just love all of it!

I'm really glad you liked the TARDIS/letter sequence - that was the first time I've deliberately done something like that (it kind of happened a bit in one of my previous vids, but that was more or less an accident!) and I'm pleased with how it worked out.
