This...is truly lovely. As someone who attaches very little religious significance to the holiday (though I was raised mildly Catholic) and instead uses it as a time to cope with grief and be around the good parts of my family, it really, really hit home. It's so beautiful, and quiet, and bittersweet, and your notes and context only make it more so. Thank you for making this.
