omg that would have been amazing!!! Plz do this at some point, Doctor Who. I agree - I thought that given all the build-up around both the mystery of the aliens, and the fact that Barton was a tech entrepreneur, there was going to be much more...coherence...as to why the aliens were here (now, in *this* time period on *this* planet). But you're right - too much going on! So full of Stuff! No time to explain Plot. I do wonder if they will come back in the final ep though, a la Tim Shaw last season...
I'm so glad this ep also gave you FEELINGS though, and that my obscenely long feelsplurge was helpful! <3 Always reassuring if somewhat bemusing to know that other people enjoy occasional access to the entire contents of my brain.
